Tresx4 was born in 1988 at 23rd carrer del Carmen in Barcelona. For years, its founder, Albert Arbos, repaired instruments at home in the Gothic Quarter. As a specialist in wind instruments, he soon realized the lack of an establishment for wood-wind instruments in Barcelona and decided to create TRESX4, where a full range of services is offered to musicians: repairs, maintenance, sale of instruments and accessories, specialized information service and a second-hand section.

In a few years, TRESX4 became the reference store for Catalan instrumentalists, but also for professionals coming to Barcelona and many foreign professionals, mainly Americans and Europeans.

During these years, if anything defines TRESX4 is the bet that has always made for the quality of the instruments sold, regardless of the fame that these have on the market. The experience and professionalism of the staff at the TRESX4 workshop, who carefully chooses any instrument that is acquired, permit to keep their own criteria and the maximum exigency. This is why the TRESX4 is, since January 2007, BUFFET OFFICIAL TECHNICAL SERVICE.

It is here where Albert Arbos and Alejandro Schcrem have been working for 25 years, building a reputation that reaches far beyond our borders, repairing the instruments of artists like Michael Brecker or Brandford Marsalis, Bob Berg, Gary Bartz, Maceo Parker, Frank Wess, among others … Not to mention the long list of excellent musicians of any style around Spain.

From April of the 2006 a new impulse has occurred to the TRESX4 of the street of carmen extending the stock with marks like SELMER or YAMAHA to the ample fan that or disponia the store, with exclusive features like BORGANI of which TRESX4 is exclusive agent for Spain, or JULIUS KEILWERTH for Catalonia, YANAGISAWA, JUPITER, BUFFET are trade-marks that can be always found in the store in stock.

Currently, TRESX4 has moved to the 44th carrer del Carmen and features a roomier local and a larger workshop. Albert and Alejandro still lead the workshop every day and Fernando Moyano is responsible for the store.
